We spotted three sloths on the nature walk — completely wild, just hanging in the trees above us. The guide knew exactly where to look and taught us so much about their behavior. The waterfall beforehand was a gorgeous bonus. One of the most peaceful days of our entire trip.
The Llanos de Cortés waterfall alone was worth the trip — we had it nearly to ourselves first thing in the morning. Then the sloth walk in Bijagua was magical. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made the whole day feel like a private wildlife documentary. We chose the PLUS option and it was absolutely worth it.
