- Rincon de la Vieja National Park is closed every Monday, the tour runs Tuesday through Sunday.
- Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy closed-toe walking shoes. The Las Pailas Trail covers approximately 3 km (2 miles) of moderate terrain.
- Bring a light rain jacket, weather in the park can change throughout the day.
- Apply sunscreen and bug spray before departure. The trail passes through both open and forested areas.
- Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or relevant health conditions at the time of booking.
We understand that travel plans may change. Cancellations made 7 or more days before the tour date receive a full refund. Cancellations made between 48 hours and 6 days before receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before are not eligible for a refund, although exceptional situations may be reviewed individually.
No-show reservations are charged in full. Guests are granted up to 1 hour after the scheduled pickup time before a no-show is recorded.
Tour rescheduling must be requested at least 48 hours in advance. Experiences canceled by Wild Papagayo due to unsafe conditions will be rescheduled or fully refunded.
Weather in the park can change throughout the day. Tours normally operate in light rain, but safety always comes first.
If conditions prevent the hike from operating safely, our team will contact you to discuss the available options, including rescheduling.
