Our cancellation policy for tours and day experiences: cancellations made 7 or more days before the tour date receive a full refund. Cancellations made between 48 hours and 6 days before receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled experience are not eligible for a refund, although exceptional situations may be reviewed individually.
No-show reservations are charged in full. Guests are granted a complimentary waiting period of up to 1 hour after the scheduled pickup time; beyond this period, the booking will be considered a no-show.
Tour rescheduling must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.
Guest safety is our priority. Experiences canceled by Wild Papagayo due to unsafe weather conditions will be rescheduled whenever possible. If rescheduling cannot be arranged, a full refund will be issued.

The waterfall alone would have been worth the trip. The white sand at the base, the cold of the water, the way the mist catches the light — completely unlike anything I expected from Guanacaste. Then the puma at Las Pumas looked right at me through the fence and I genuinely had no words. Two completely different feelings, both extraordinary.
We were with our 8-year-old and she still talks about the macaws and the jaguar. The guide explained the rescue center's mission so clearly and with such genuine passion that even she understood why these animals are there and what it means to protect them. It turned into a real conversation that lasted the whole drive back.
I expected the waterfall to be the highlight — and it was stunning. But standing a few feet from a puma in a rescue sanctuary, understanding its story and why it's there, moved me more than I anticipated. Our guide gave both parts of the day the attention they deserved. An absolute gem of an experience.
